Saba Carnival 2025 Program Revealed

Last night marked the official launch of Saba Carnival 2025, led by the Community Development and Culture Department.

With the unveiling of this year’s logo and schedule, anticipation is now building for the week of celebrations which will take place from July 28th to August 3rd.

The launch event was opened by Island Governor Jonathan Johnson who expressed gratitude for the teamwork and effort needed to put together the events, and for the community input and support.

The reveal of the new Carnival logo followed, depicting a bold and colorful design that captures the essence of Saba’s beauty, from steep hills to its magnificent underwater world. The imagery also features the tropic bird, symbolizing the island’s vibrant spirit and deep connection to nature.

Following the branding reveal, organizers presented the official 2025 Carnival schedule, with events ranging from Bouyon Night, Calypso and Road March competitions, and Flag Fest. The official parades will take place on August 2nd and 3rd. 

Other highlights during last night's event included a premier performance from the Rhythm Nation Drum band, music by local DJs Noah Zagers and Zanderzone, and an exhilarating act by the Grand Masters Band.

The launch signals the start of the countdown to Saba Carnival 2025.
