Due to ground swells at Fort Bay, the Reverse Osmosis (R.O.) plant has been temporarily shut down as a precautionary measure. This step was taken to protect the critical equipment used in the seawater treatment process.
As a result, several upgrades that were originally planned for a later date will now be carried out earlier.
Please note:
- The transport of R.O. water will be halted for the next two (2) days to allow these upgrades to take place.
- Water transport truckers may continue providing their services during this period.
- Updates will be shared regarding the restoration of the system once the upgrades are completed and sea conditions at Fort Bay have stabilized.
The Public Entity Saba thanks the public for their understanding and cooperation.
