We wish to advise the public that starting in the morning of Monday July 21st, 2025, Workmonster will begin placing rocks behind the Multipurpose Pier. This work is being carried out to improve protection of the pier in the event of a storm.
We are kindly requesting the following from all pier users:
- Do not park any vehicles on the pier starting Monday.
- Fishermen, please secure and remove any equipment or gear currently stored on the pier.
- All fishermen and other boat owners, please use your moorings to avoid obstructing traffic flow near the pier during this period.
As of Monday, Workmonster and the Government will not be responsible for any damage to items left on the pier during this project.
Boat traffic will still be allowed, but we urge everyone to use caution in the area.
