We wish to inform the public that beginning today Monday July 7, 2025, dredging of Gary's Pond will begin. This work is expected to be completed by the end of this week.
As Gary's Pond has been less impacted by the sargassum seaweed, it offers an alternative to Cove Bay for recreation.
We advise all members of the community to proceed with caution when approaching the Gary's Pond area, as there will be heavy machinery present.
