Weather Update | Saturday, August 29, 2026

Public Entity Saba would like to advise community that the remnants of Dolly are expected to move into the area Saturday evening into Sunday and possibly Monday.

There is a chance of isolated thunderstorms, with periods of heavy rainfall, and rough sea conditions. Heavy downpours may increase the risk of rockslides, falling rocks, and debris on the roads. All motorists are advised to drive carefully, especially during and after periods of rain.

Residents are reminded to unplug all electrical devices during thunderstorms to prevent damage.

As a precaution, water production at the desalination plant will be temporarily paused from Saturday, August 29th, until approximately Monday, August 31st. This is to prevent damage to electrical equipment and protect the seawater intake from the expected storm conditions.
Even with the possibility of rain, residents are asked to continue to conserve water.

The community is advised to continue monitoring weather updates throughout the weekend and further updates from Public Entity will be provided if needed.
