Public Entity Saba advises that rain and thunderstorms may continue in the area this morning. With more people expected to be on the roads today, motorists are asked to exercise extra caution.
Heavy rainfall over the weekend may have left hillsides unstable, increasing the risk of further falling rocks and debris. Caution is still needed even when the rain has eased.
Most roads across the island are clear and passable, although small amounts of debris remain in some areas. The road to Wells Bay is currently not passable but is expected to be cleared this morning.
Public Works teams are working to clean the roads. Motorists are asked to drive slowly, watch for crews, and follow their instructions when passing through work areas.
If you are travelling this morning, please contact Winair or Makana Ferry directly for information about your trip.
