We wish to inform the public that thunderstorms have already started to form in the area today. These periods of bad weather could last from today, and into the weekend. During heavy rain, we remind everyone to take precautions when driving, especially in the event of falling rocks and flash floods in certain areas.
Please remember to also unplug any electronic devices during thunderstorms, as lightning strikes may affect these.
With the recent formation of Tropical Storm Jerry, we encourage residents to stay prepared. TS Jerry is expected to pass northeast of Saba early Friday morning at a distance of 170 miles, bringing potential periods of high winds, showers and rough seas.
