Exercise Caution on the Roads

Public Entity Saba would like to advise the public of the following:

Motorists are advised to drive with caution if weather conditions change over the weekend.

Periods of rain and possible thunderstorms may move through the area this weekend. Localized rainfall will increase the risk of falling rocks, loose debris, and mudslides in vulnerable areas.

With Carnival celebrations taking place throughout the weekend, the Public Entity encourages everyone on the roads to remain alert.

Motorists are advised to:

  • Reduce speeds
  • Watch for fallen rocks, loose debris, or other hazards on the road
  • Drive with extra caution during or after rainfall
  • Follow any instructions from emergency services or security personnel

Please remember that rockfalls are an island-wide hazard. Whether you're driving, walking, or hiking, stay alert and exercise caution when going through areas where rocks or debris may fall during or after rainfall.

The Public Entity will continue to monitor weather conditions and will provide updates if necessary.

We wish everyone a safe and enjoyable Carnival weekend.
