Public Entity Saba would like to remind residents and visitors to exercise caution during the current dry weather conditions. Dry vegetation can easily ignite, increasing the likelihood of brush and vegetation fires.
To help reduce the risk of accidental fires, the public is asked to:
- Refrain from open burning.
- Ensure cigarettes are fully extinguished before disposal. Never discard cigarette onto the ground or from vehicles.
- Avoid activities that may create sparks or open flames near dry grass, brush, or vegetation.
- Report any signs of smoke or fire to the emergency services immediately.
