Profiles

The Executive Council is responsible for the daily governance of Bonaire. They prepare decisions of the Island Council and execute them. The Executive Council also has the authority to make its own decisions, such as granting a building permit or entering into a contract with a contractor. The council is supported in its tasks by the civil service organization under the leadership of the Island Secretary.
