BSN Pick-up Weeks

From 11 November, you will get a citizen service number (BSN) and you will be able to pick up the letter with your personal BSN. The BSN is your personal number. It is being given to you now so that you can take care of your government affairs online in the future.

During the BSN pick up weeks from 11 November to 4 December, your BSN letter will be waiting for you and you can pick it up from the Census Office without making an appointment. Even after the pick up weeks, you can request your BSN from Census Office at any time.

Bring ID

To pick up your BSN letter, you must bring a valid proof of identity, such as your I.D. card, passport or driving licence. Do you have children under the age of 16? Parents and guardians of a child under the age of 16 can pick up the child's BSN letter. Please also bring your child's valid ID for this purpose.

Authorisation form

You can authorise someone else to pick up your BSN letter for you. To do this, write an authorisation letter that includes your name, date of birth, address and signature, along with the name and date of birth of the person you are authorising. The letter must clearly state that you authorise that person to pick up your letter on your behalf. You must also provide a copy of your identity document to the person you are authorising.

When can I pick up my BSN letter?
You can pick up your letter with personal BSN during the BSN pick up weeks, from Tuesday, 11 November up to and including Thursday, 4 December. Do you already have an appointment Census Office? Who can pick up the BSN letter?
All residents of Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba aged 16 and over can pick up their personal BSN letter themselves.

Identiteitsbewijs meenemen

Voor het ophalen van uw BSN-brief moet u een geldig legitimatiebewijs meenemen, zoals uw sédula, paspoort of rijbewijs. Heeft u kind(eren) jonger dan 16 jaar? Ouders en verzorgers van een kind jonger dan 16 jaar kunnen de BSN-brief van het kind ophalen. Neem hiervoor ook een geldig legitimatiebewijs van uw kind mee.

Machtigingsformulier

U kunt iemand anders toestemming geven om uw BSN-brief voor u op te halen. Hiervoor schrijft u een machtigingsbrief waarin uw naam, geboortedatum, adres en handtekening staan, samen met de naam en geboortedatum van de persoon die u machtigt. In de brief moet duidelijk worden vermeld dat u die persoon toestemming geeft om uw brief namens u op te halen. Daarnaast moet u ook een kopie van uw identiteitsbewijs meegeven.

Semanas de recogida del BSN

A partir del 11 de noviembre, usted recibirá un número de identificación personal (burgerservicenummer, BSN) y podrá recoger la carta con su numero BSN. El BSN es un número personal que se le entrega desde ahora, para que en el futuro pueda gestionar también online sus asuntos con la Administración pública.

Durante las semanas de obtención del BSN (del 11 de noviembre al 4 de diciembre) su carta con su BSN estará preparada y podrá recogerla en la oficina de Registro Civil(burgerzaken). También podrá solicitar su BSN en dicha oficina cuando hayan terminado las semanas de obtención del BSN.

Lleve consigo un documento de identidad

Para recoger la carta con su BSN deberá llevar consigo un documento de identificación en vigor, como su sédula, su pasaporte o su permiso de conducir. ¿Tiene usted hijos menores de 16 años? Los padres y los cuidadores de un menor de 16 años pueden recoger la carta con el BSN del menor. Lleve consigo un documento de identificación de su hijo o hija que esté en vigor.

Formulario de autorización

También puede autorizar a otra persona para que recoja en nombre de usted su carta con el BSN. Para ello debe redactar una carta de autorización en la que consten su nombre, su fecha de nacimiento, su dirección y su firma, además del nombre y la fecha de nacimiento de la persona a quien usted autoriza. En la carta debe indicarse claramente que autoriza a dicha persona para que recoja su carta en nombre de usted. También puede darle una copia de su documento de identificación.
