Donation & Sponsorship Information
Community Development and Culture Department is committed to support youth, community groups and organizations, by making available donations and sponsorships to support initiatives that benefit the Saban community. This program provides financial support for projects, events, and activities that benefit the community through youth empowerment, cultural enrichment, and community well-being.
Before applying, review the information below.
What We Support
We provide funding for initiatives that:
- Empower and engage Saba's youth (ages 0-24) through education, recreation, leadership, or sports.
- Promote cultural heritage, arts, and community connection.
- Strengthen community participation, well-being, and inclusion.
Eligible Applicants
You can apply if you are:
- An individual
- A team or community group
- A registered organization
Funding Amounts
- Youth Empowerment: Up to $5000 USD (depending on the type of activity)
- Cultural Activities: Up to $2000 USD
- Other Community Development Initiatives: Up to $5000 USD
Before You Apply
Make sure you:
- Apply at least 4-6 weeks before your activity or event
- Have a clear activity plan and budget
- Be able to show that you have made efforts to raise funds
- You are willing to acknowledge Public Entity Saba as a sponsor (logo placement required)
- Have all documents prepared (invoiced, invitations, quotes, etc.)
How It Works
- Submit your completed Application

- Once your application is complete and submitted, email all supporting documents to rosalyn.johnson@sabagov.nl
- If you fill out the paper application, please bring it to Community Development and Culture Department or email it to rosalyn.johnson@sabagov.nl
- Review
- The Community Development and Culture Department will check your request against the eligibility criteria.
- Decision
- If approved, your request will be submitted to the Executive Council.
- Funding
- Approved funds will be disbursed within 14 days after approval.
Incomplete applications or those not meeting the criteria will be returned with feedback.
Reporting After Your Event
Recipients who receive funding must submit a Post Funding Report within 4 weeks of the activity. The report should show:
- Reach and impact
- How the funds were used
- What went well and what didn't
Failure to submit the report will result in no future funding. No exceptions.

Ineligible Requests
We do not fund:
- Political or discriminatory activities
- Personal gain unrelated to community benefit
- Activities or events prohibited by law or regulation
