Vice-President of the Council of State Thom de Graaf Pays Final working visit to Saba

On April 25, Island Governor Jonathan Johnson welcomed Thom de Graaf, Vice-President of the Council of State and his delegation, on the occasion of his farewell visit to Saba in this capacity, as his tenure is set to conclude on July 1 of this year.

On April 25, Island Governor Jonathan Johnson welcomed Thom de Graaf, Vice-President of the Council of State and his delegation, on the occasion of his farewell visit to Saba in this capacity, as his tenure is set to conclude on July 1 of this year.

During his visit, Mr. De Graaf was given the opportunity to observe several key projects and initiatives happening across the island. His program included visits to the local schools in St. John’s, where he viewed the construction of the Enrichment Center, as well as the new Saba Cares Hospital building in The Bottom, He also visited the new location for the solar panel site, the Black Rocks Harbor, the waste management facility at Fort Bay, and lastly the social housing in The Promise Land. These visits provided insight into the progress and impact of projects he has been connected to during his tenure.
