SSS Islands Gather for Cooperative Consultations

Today, members of the Island Council of St. Eustatius and the Parliament of Sint Maarten arrived on Saba for a working visit hosted by the Island Council of Saba.

This gathering marks a historic milestone, as it is the first time since the constitutional transition that the legislative bodies of Saba, St. Eustatius, and Sint Maarten are meeting together. The summit, set to begin on Wednesday, April 16, will focus on strengthening cooperation between the islands. Discussions will center on shared interests and the exploration of joint approaches to address regional priorities.
