Throughout September, residents, visitors, and partners came together to participate in activities designed to showcase the island’s heritage, creativity, and renowned spirit of hospitality.
This year’s program offered something for everyone. The 10K Run with Colibri Café encouraged healthy living and togetherness, while the Taxi Driver Appreciation event at Colibri Café and catered by Touchdown Restaurant honored those who serve as the island’s first ambassadors to visitors, complemented by updates from the Saba Conservation Foundation, Sea Saba, and the Sea & Learn Foundation.
Youth-focused initiatives also played a central role. The Island Tour and Reel Competition with The Spot Youth Center, along with the launch of the tourism awareness activities booklet at Sacred Heart School, engaged children and youth in fun, interactive ways to learn about and take pride in Saba’s tourism product and natural environment.
Local talent and creativity were celebrated during the Art at Amonhana showcase, where artisans shared their crafts, culinary creations, and stories, highlighting the island’s vibrant cultural expression. The Tourism Awareness Street Fair and the Child Focus “Vibes” video launch have been postponed until further notice, while Season 3 of Faces of Saba will premiere in the first week of October on the social media platforms.
Tourism Awareness Month 2025 highlighted Saba’s vibrant community, and promising future, reinforcing the island’s reputation as a one-of-a-kind destination for both residents and visitors.
