In the coming weeks, the House of Representatives and the Senate will debate the budget, where changes can be made to budget proposals. Once both the House of Representatives and the Senate approve the proposals, the budget will be adopted.
The proposed extension of the subsidy is welcome news for the Public Entity of Saba, as it reflects strong support for improving connectivity across the islands.
Discussions will therefore continue between the public entities and the Makana Ferry, in order to prepare terms for a possible new agreement.
