As the events for Carnival continue tonight and through the weekend, please use caution on the roads as after the recent heavy rainfall, there is an increased risk of falling rocks and mudslides.
Key areas of caution include but are not limited to Gills Quarter (between Windwardside and St. John’s), Fort Bay Road, and Wells Bay. Be aware that areas with steep cliffs and little ground cover are especially vulnerable.
When driving, be particularly alert for collapsed pavement, mud on the road, fallen rocks, and other debris. Stay safe and vigilant on the roads.
